Sounds of the Sixties…. With experience performing as a Beatle’s tribute band at Perth’s casino complex some years ago as well as a residency in peppers nightclub as a 60s Mersey style band, Nearly Famous has a wealth of experience in all styles of music from that era. It has been a regular theme adopted by corporate clients and those timeless classics from the 60s provide a wonderful opportunity to relive or discover that fabulous decade – tune in, turn on and dropout! |

The Sizzling Seventies…. Dig out those mirror balls because when Nearly Famous play the 70s disco music you should be dancing. This is the era of platform shoes and Glam rock with hits from the Eagles, Doobie brothers, Abba, America, Elton John and the Bee Gees along with all those other artists who made this decade such a special one. This was the decade in which Wido cut his musical teeth and Nearly Famous’s renditions of the songs are as fresh as when they were on the hit parade. This has been a great theme during the last few years and provides a fun night for corporate clients when the guests are invited to wear flares as well as an artificial assister when the natural hairlines have receded a little bit too much!!

Chain Gang…. For a number of years, “Nearly Famous” has been performing regularly at Fremantle Prison for corporate functions and wowing audiences with their selection of jail appropriate songs. It is a theme which has been extremely popular and has worked well in providing a different approach to the night’s entertainment. Even if your evening function is held outside the actual prison venue, this band can bring an air of realism to the night to make your function different and successful as well as adding an air of authenticity through their prison uniforms. It is a great theme which again showcases the versatility and talents of Alison and Wido in making sure that your event “works”. |

Nearly Famous do the songs the way they were meant to be– dust off your parachute pants and Jordache jeans and prepare yourself for the ultimate 80s tribute duo! |
